Police are looking for the car responsible for a hit-and-run on State Route (SR) 520.
On April 6 at 12:50 a.m., Washington State Patrol (WSP) said they received a call for a single-car collision headed eastbound near Montlake Blvd.
Before they arrived at the scene, more calls came in for other collisions as well as a report of a person who was hit and lying down in the lanes.
Once WSP arrived, they determined that the person on the road was the driver from the first call. They said that this person got out of their car and went over the barrier to the westbound lanes, where they were hit by another car. This car then fled the scene.
WSP said that the suspect may have been driving a silver Toyota Prius from 2004-2009. They believe it may be partially spray-painted red.
This is being investigated as a felony hit-and-run; there is no description of the driver at this time.
