Man stabbed in Capitol Hill: SPD investigates Tuesday night attack

Police are looking for the person who stabbed a man Tuesday night in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood.

Just after 7:45 p.m., a report came in of a stabbing at Broadway and East Pike Street. Police found a 37-year-old man with a wound to the torso. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in stable but serious condition.

said the man was involved in an altercation right before the stabbing. The suspect took off running westbound. Officers were not able to find him.

Seattle Police seek suspect in Capitol Hill stabbing

Detectives are trying to figure out what led up to this.

SPD’s Homicide/Assault Unit is leading the investigation.
