A 36-year-old man was arrested Tuesday night after shooting up his apartment in West Seattle, according to the Seattle Police Department.
Police said officers were sent to the building around 10:45 p.m. to the 3200 block of California Avenue Southwest after 911 calls described gunfire coming from within an apartment building. Once they arrived, officers heard continued gunshots and shouting coming from one of the units.
Responding patrol officers quickly established a perimeter, and the department鈥檚 Hostage Negotiation Team (HNT) was called. As a precaution, residents in adjacent units were evacuated.聽
