Shooting reported near Northgate transit center, one victim in critical condition

One victim has been shot after a shooting in the 10200 block of 1st Ave N.E. near the Northgate Transit Center at approximately 7:40 a.m. Monday.
Seattle Police Department (SPD) officers responded to the scene and found a 48-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head. Two suspects approached the victim and one shot him.

The two suspects ran to a car and fled the scene, SPD detective Eric Muñoz told ³ÉÈËXÕ¾ Newsradio’s Scott Carty. SPD officers are actively searching the area for the shooting suspects.
SPD officers on the scene noted that one of the suspects was wearing a grey hoodie and a mask. Investigators are currently reviewing security footage at the crime scene for additional information on the suspects.

The victim has been transported to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.
SPD advised avoiding the area.
