Charges filed against 2 men in connection with Pioneer Square triple murder

Charges were filed against two men in connection with a Pioneer Square triple murder, according to the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
Last week, homicide detectives with the Seattle Police Department (SPD), with the assistance of SWAT, arrested multiple suspects involved in the Pioneer Square triple homicide that occurred May 17.
SPD and SWAT arrested three men at an apartment building located on the 3300 block of Gale Place South in South Seattle. Detectives recovered several firearms in the apartment as evidence.
It is unknown whether these firearms are related to the homicides, as of this reporting.
Two of the three suspects were booked at King County Jail for investigation of murder and assault, while the third suspect was sent to the Department of Corrections.
“Two people were booked for investigation of murder and assault. One is age 24 and the other is 25,” Casey McNerthney, director of communications for the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, said in an email.
This remains an active and ongoing investigation led by the SPD’s Homicide Unit.

Three shot to death, one wounded in Seattle鈥檚 Pioneer Square
Three people were shot to death and a fourth was seriously wounded early in the morning of May 17 in Pioneer Square, SPD confirmed.
According to a post on the聽, just after 1 a.m., officers near First Avenue and South Washington Street heard a disturbance. They found four adults with gunshot wounds.
Two men and a woman died at the scene. Another man was taken to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition. His status is unknown, as of this reporting.
