Homicide detectives with the Seattle Police Department (SPD), with the assistance of SWAT, arrested multiple suspects involved in the Pioneer Square triple homicide that occurred last weekend.
At approximately 7 p.m. Thursday, SPD and SWAT arrested three men at an apartment building located on the 3300 block of Gale Place South in South Seattle. Detectives recovered several firearms in the apartment as evidence.
It is unknown whether these firearms are related to the homicides, as of this reporting.
Two of the three suspects were booked at King County Jail for investigation of murder and assault, while the third suspect was sent to the Department of Corrections.
“Two people were booked for investigation of murder and assault. One is age 24 and the other is 25,” Casey McNerthney, director of communications for the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, said in an email. “Those two people are expected to have first appearance hearings at 2 p.m. Friday afternoon in King County Jail Courtroom No. 1.”
This remains an active and ongoing investigation led by the SPD’s Homicide Unit.
If anyone has any available information they can provide, call the SPD Violent Crimes Tip Line at (206) 233-5000.
“The next update will come Friday after the first appearance hearings, as soon as possible,” McNerthney added. “Defendants are innocent until proven guilty in court.”
