Man arrested for threatening to kill Seattle officers and ‘stab one in the throat’

Seattle police shut down the lobbies at their headquarters and all five precincts this week after a man allegedly made online threats to kill officers and “stab one in the throat.”
Seattle Police Detective Eric Mu帽oz said authorities discovered the Instagram post around 8 a.m. Thursday.
In a video posted on Instagram, the suspect allegedly stated, 鈥淚鈥檓 on my way to a police precinct to stab one in the throat鈥ee if they stop me.鈥澛 The man was armed with a knife in the video, police said in a .
Mu帽oz said officers quickly tracked the man down, but he jumped off a second-floor balcony to get away. He then ran into a nearby building near Minor Avenue and Harrison Street.
The 32-year-old suspect was reportedly livestreaming the incident, and police said his plan was to break into an apartment and jump out of a window.

Police arrested him before he could do that.
Detectives searched the man鈥檚 home but did not find the weapon.
The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center for evaluation, then booked into the King County Jail for investigation of harassment and threats to bomb or injure.
