SWAT called to Marysville after ‘serious assault’ Wednesday morning

A SWAT team swarmed a neighborhood in Marysville just after 5 a.m. Wednesday, arresting a suspect hours later.
Marysville residents were told to avoid the area of 92nd Street N.E., between State Avenue and 51st Avenue N.E., after SWAT was called to respond to a “serious assault,” according to the .
A suspect was taken into custody at 8:15 a.m.
“This incident is contained to a single home,” the Marysville Police Department stated. “There is no outstanding threat to the community.”
Marysville Police did state that officers would be staying in the area for several more hours.
