An 18-year-old woman was critically injured in a hit-and-run during a street takeover on the Fourth of July in Auburn at the intersection of Lake Tapps Parkway S.E. and Lakeland Hills Way S.E., according to the Auburn Police Department.

The driver then fled and struck the woman, who was trying to cross the street. Police confirmed she was rushed to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.

Residents who live near the intersection said street takeovers have been happening more frequently. Many people told 成人X站 7 they are frustrated and have been calling for increased police patrols in the area.
Detectives and Auburn police鈥檚 traffic unit have reviewed surveillance footage from around the area and are asking the public to submit any videos or information they may have from the night of the incident.
鈥淚t鈥檚 something our traffic unit is constantly dealing with and something we hope to prevent someday,鈥 Crossley said. 鈥淭here鈥檚 probably a lot of video. Some people likely know exactly who was involved and saw everything as it unfolded.鈥
