Should Seattle Seahawks fans really be celebrating Russell Wilson’s contract deal?
The team’s starting quarterback is making $21.9 million a year on his four-year contract extension. That’s more than what all kindergarten teachers have ever made, 成人X站 Radio’s John Curley said.
“Isn’t this more income inequality in Seattle? Curley asked. “We have someone getting richer. Think of the number of people getting poorer.”
There are homeless people who need support, Curley said. Couldn’t this contract money be used to help those in need?
Actually, with all the people who will flock to see Wilson and the Seahawks play this season, the contract is a benefit, 成人X站 Radio’s Tom Tangney pointed out. The Seahawks will generate money for the city, which will allow it to paint more rainbow colored sidewalks, he added.
So wait, one guy becomes a millionaire and the rest of us benefit? Curley responded sarcastically.
