DC Jews antisemitism...

If you鈥檝e spent any time watching or reading the news over the last year and a half, you should have noticed the trend: antisemitism isn鈥檛 just back, it鈥檚 being mainstreamed鈥攅specially by the Radical Left, and, to some extent, the Radical Right. After last night鈥檚 , it鈥檚 time to stop pretending this is some isolated incident.

The rot starts in our cities, festering on our college campuses, is enabled鈥攁nd, in some instances, cheered on鈥攂y Democratic politicians who鈥檇 rather blame Israel than call out the bigots in their own ranks.

What we鈥檝e seen in Seattle, at the University of Washington, and across the country isn鈥檛 鈥減ro-Palestinian activism.鈥 It鈥檚 open, vicious antisemitism鈥攃omplete with blood libels, celebration of terrorist groups like Hamas and Hezbollah, and the intimidation and outright assault of Jewish students and staff.

The murder of Jews was inevitable

I warned this would happen. I鈥檝e spent months watching radicals occupy our campuses, chanting for a “global intifada,” spewing hate from the comfort of their tent encampments and, in the case of UW, rallying around monsters who slaughter Jewish civilians for sport. And now, after over a year of normalizing this filth, the violence has escalated exactly as predicted.

But if you ask too many media outlets, or listen to Democratic Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal鈥擲eattle鈥檚 favorite Hamas apologist鈥攖hese are just 鈥減eaceful protests.鈥 They’re passionate students who are merely criticizing Israeli policy and fighting to end a “genocide.” Spare me.

The Seattle Times will give you a downplaying Hamas’ terrorist attack against Israel so they can highlight the plight of Gazans while using statistics provided by Hamas. KING 5 runs glowing coverage of these rallies, amplifying businesses actively spreading Hamas propaganda, while , “For decades, Palestinians have suffered under the Israeli Government.” Apparently, Hamas bears no responsibility. A KOMO reporter will whitewash the language at rallies, calling Hamas terrorists “freedom fighters.”

Whitewashing antisemitism

Meanwhile, local media either skips or glosses over any mention that the 鈥淔rom the River to the Sea鈥 chants explicitly call for the destruction of Israel and the extermination of Jews. They call antisemites “pro-Palestinian.” They feature fringe voices supporting Hamas, while mostly pushing Jews aside unless they’re and fall into the 1% that doesn’t believe in Israel’s right to exist.

Local media acts like these activists are the underdogs fighting 鈥渃olonialism,鈥 rather than privileged brats cosplaying as revolutionaries while peddling centuries-old hate.

While not all local media engage in this irresponsible journo-activism (Jeremy Harris at KOMO, for example, has been allowed to offer honest coverage, especially around the so-called “occupation” by antisemites at the UW), it represents the majority of the coverage as they try to give “both sides” equal space. The side calling for the death of Jews, while showing support for Hamas and endlessly demonizing Israel, is not worthy of anything more than scorn.

Let鈥檚 stop sugarcoating the hate

When you host 鈥渢each-ins鈥 with 鈥淔ree Gaza鈥 banners but end up reading Hamas press releases out loud, you鈥檙e not interested in human rights鈥攜ou鈥檙e legitimizing terror. When you let campus encampments run for days or weeks, you鈥檙e giving the green light for radicalization.

When Democratic politicians like Jayapal refuse to condemn this hate, or worse, dismisses the rape of Jewish women to justify attacks against Israel, they鈥檙e not neutral. They鈥檙e complicit.

These activists, along with their enablers in academia and the halls of Congress, don鈥檛 want peace. They want to see Israel wiped off the map, and they make that clear every time they cheer for Hamas or accuse Jews of 鈥済enocide.鈥 It鈥檚 sick.

Where’s the impassioned support for Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim

We鈥檙e told not to conflate anti-Zionism with antisemitism. But I see the same faces who say 鈥淒eath to Israel鈥 pushing blood libels about Jews starving Gazan children. I see 鈥淔ree Palestine鈥 rallies where Hezbollah flags are waved and posters call for 鈥済lobal intifada鈥濃攁nd then I watch as Jewish homes and businesses are vandalized, and two innocent young Jews, Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim, murdered in cold blood in D.C.

The line isn鈥檛 blurred; it鈥檚 been erased.

Will Lischinsky and Milgrim earn impassioned support from the likes of Jayapal, or are they too busy fighting to defend antisemitic grad students?

Will the Radical Left embrace the suspect Elias Rodriguez or will they turn him into a martyr, or fetishize him like they did with Luigi Mangione?

More violence is inevitable if we don’t condemn the movement

So what happens next? We鈥檙e already seeing it.

Jewish students are fleeing campus, faculty are threatened, and violence鈥攍ike we just witnessed in D.C.鈥攚ill only get worse. When you normalize hate, when you elevate the voices of bigots and terrorists under the guise of 鈥渟ocial justice,鈥 you end up with blood on your hands. What did you think would happen next? The antisemitic activists, locally and nationally, have already escalated their tactics.聽They told us they would.

And make no mistake, the blame isn鈥檛 just on the thugs who pull the trigger or smash the window. It鈥檚 on every politician who refuses to stand up, every media outlet that calls hate 鈥渁ctivism,鈥 and every university president who鈥檚 too cowardly to enforce their own policies.

I鈥檝e been warning about this for months, and now we鈥檙e all living with the consequences. If Seattle, the University of Washington, and the Democratic Party don鈥檛 wake up and root out this antisemitic cancer, the violence will continue鈥攁nd next time, it might be closer to home.
