Activists engaged in more 鈥淭esla Takedown鈥 protests in Seattle, Bellevue, Lynwood, Fife and Renton on Saturday, according to the , a site to organize for progressive causes. It’s part of a nationwide movement “tanking Tesla鈥檚 stock price to stop Musk,鈥 and, 鈥淪topping Musk will help save lives and protect our democracy.鈥

The so-called 鈥淭esla Takedown Global Day of Action鈥 was planned for Saturday morning, with rallies at more than 200 Tesla facilities nationwide, including many locations in Washington state. Organizers say the campaign is aimed at holding Musk accountable for what they describe as his attacks on public services. They鈥檝e branded the event as a peaceful protest movement, though some prior demonstrations have ended in vandalism and property damage.

“Tesla Takedown is a peaceful protest movement. We oppose violence, vandalism and destruction of property. This protest is a lawful exercise of our First Amendment right to peaceful assembly,” organizers write.

Tesla vehicles targeted across the region

The Tesla Takedown protests began at 10 a.m. at Tesla dealerships in the area. There were 11 protests planned in Washington state, according to the Action Network.

The continued protests are occurring during heightened concerns over violent or threatening incidents targeting drivers and Tesla dealerships.

Cybertrucks were scorched in the SoDo neighborhood, and tagged with swastikas and the word 鈥淣azi鈥 in Lynnwood. One mother said she was driving in Lynnwood when a man with a mask cut her off, got out of his car, and confronted her for driving a Tesla,聽referring to it as a 鈥淣azi car.鈥
