The Bellevue Police Department (BPD) is looking for a missing 13-year-old boy.
Simeon Wiens was last seen Friday morning around 6:20 a.m. on the 3200 block of 158th Avenue Southeast in Bellevue, according to BPD.
13-year-old missing boy last seen running around Factoria Mall
“He’s visiting with his family from Spokane, and he was here with his folks, and then around 6:47 approximately this morning, he was last seen running around Factoria Mall, then he went missing,” BPD spokesperson Drew Anderson said.
He was last seen wearing a teal blue Under Armour sweatshirt with black running pants.
“He has only $20 to his name, no cell phone either, so he doesn’t have any resources to contact his folks, and so if anyone sees him somewhere, we’re asking people to call 911,” Anderson said.
Police do not believe Wiens is a danger to himself.
“We are doing our preliminary investigation on why he would have maybe run away, we’re looking into speaking with the family,” Anderson said. “They were staying at a hotel in the city, and what we’re focused on right now is finding Simeon. The quicker and faster we can find Simeon, the quicker we can reunite him with his family.”
If anyone sees Wiens, police say to call 911.
