Five people wound up in Green River in Auburn late Sunday night, leading to a rescue operation with multiple agencies coming together to help.

Puget Sound Fire, the Valley Regional Fire Authority, South King Fire and Rescue, and Medic One all assisted the Enumclaw Fire Department in the rescue.

Puget Sound Fire, VRFA, SKFR and Medic One are assisting Enumclaw FD at the Kummer bridge with a river rescue of 5 people. Kummer Bridge is closed in both directions.

All 5 occupants have been rescued and no injuries.

Three kayakers rescued from Snoqualmie river

The rescue happened just after 9 p.m. on the Kummer bridge. Authorities closed the bridge to traffic in both directions as crews worked to get the five people out of the river.

No injuries have been reported at this time.
