Bonney Lake High School dismissed for bomb threat

Nov 19, 2013, 10:24 AM | Updated: 6:39 pm

Students and staff were evacuated and class was dismissed at Bonney Lake High School after a bomb threat on Tuesday.

“We have sent the kids home so that they can be warm and safe. Police are working on searching the building to make sure that there’s not a bomb in the building,” said Sarah Johnson, Sumner School District Superintendent.

Johnson added that there are surveillance cameras in the school and they have an idea about who made the threat.
