Plane crashes into occupied home in Cashmere, 2 hospitalized

A small plane crashed into a home in Cashmere, Washington, sending two people to the hospital Wednesday, the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) confirmed.
At approximately 5:30 p.m., the plane crashed into a home on Tigner Road near the Cashmere-Dryden Airport.

Two people inside the plane have been taken to the hospital, including one who was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center.
The severity of the injuries remains unknown as of this reporting.
CCSO deputies told the home was occupied at the time of the crash, although no injuries were reported.
No information has been provided regarding the cause of the plane crash. It is also unclear whether the plane was arriving or departing.
The CCSO, National Transportation Safety Board, and Federal Aviation Administration are investigating the incident.
