Cyclist suspected of stabbing man during fight in Capitol Hill

A cyclist is suspected of stabbing a man multiple times after crashing into him in the Capitol Hill neighborhood on Sunday morning.
The crash occurred as the pedestrian was walking across the street at the intersection of Broadway and East Pine Street just before 2 a.m., according to Seattle police. The pedestrian was walking against the signal.
A fight between the cyclist and man walking across the street ensued. The cyclist allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the man multiple times, witnesses told police.
Officers on foot patrol found the men, one armed with a folding knife. Officers took the 40-year-old cyclists into custody.
The stabbing victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cyclist was taken to Harborview for minor injuries sustained during the crash and the fight. He was later booked into King County Jail for investigation of assault.
