That was ‘definitely a quake’ felt in Bellingham

If there were any doubts that the shaking felt Tuesday night near Bellingham wasn’t an earthquake, the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network has the proof.

“Definitely a quake,” Network Director John Vidale wrote.
The magnitude-3.2 earthquake was recorded at 11:50 p.m. about nine miles east of Bellingham in the Sudden Valley area. Several people reported feeling it.
One person in Ferndale said her house “creaked” and “jolted.”
鈥淚 felt it here in Bellingham. I heard a loud rumble, then my home shook for about 5 seconds,鈥 Holly Orban told 成人X站 7.
So far there have been no reports of any strong aftershocks.
