DUI, crash, hit-and-run, Fast Furious, I-5...

Investigators believe this Crown Victoria was driven by a 22-year-old man who was high on meth and heroin. (WSP)

(WSP)

Investigators say the driver who hit multiple vehicles while driving on northbound I-5 last week was not only inspired by “The Fast and Furious” franchise, he thought he was playing the video game.

Police say the 22-year-old man was high on meth and heroin when he sped down I-5, hitting at least seven vehicles before driving into oncoming traffic and taking off on foot.

Here’s a shot clip of his car weaving through traffic:

reports that after stopping his Crown Victoria, the man began jumping on cars and even tried to steal a car before he was arrested. The man told troopers he was part of the popular movie and video game franchise and bragged about the hit-and-runs on the freeway. He even said he got the high score for the most damage.

The man was arrested for DUI in Island County one day before the Seattle incident. He was convicted of DUI in Indiana in 2014. He’s now charged with multiple felonies.
