Dump truck loaded with sand crashes in Woodinville

A crash involving a dump truck filled with sand snarled the Tuesday morning commute on SR 522 at milepost 13. (WSDOT)

A crash involving a dump truck loaded with sand blocked all lanes of State Route 522 near SR 9 in Woodinville.
Traffic backed up for several miles as law enforcement worked to turn vehicles around via an emergency route.
The crash cleared just before noon. Crews had to block the left lane to repair a guardrail.
The crash involved several vehicles, the dump truck and a semi-truck.
The Washington State Patrol reports injuries were believed to be minor.
