For news junkies on the go, GeekWire’s Todd Bishop has the perfect app:
This free iPhone app was recently named the editor’s choice application of the week by Apple for its visual quality and ease of use.
The app has roots in the Pacific Northwest, co-founded by Seattle’s own Ben Huh, who is also CEO of the popular internet meme site
“This is a way to consume news in very bite-sized chunks,” says Todd. “The editors of this particular app are going in and they pick out paragraphs, photos, sound bites, quotes; things that you just need to know, the core of what you need to know to follow a particular story.”
Users can also follow a specific story and the app will supply more in-depth information and send notifications about updates. Then the app suggests related stories or information similar to what you already follow.
“It’s an alternative to Twitter,” says John Cook.
GeekWire can be heard on 成人X站 Radio on Saturdays at 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Sunday at 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Available anytime ON DEMAND at MyNorthwest.com.
