All lanes of southbound Highway 99 in Seattle have reopened after an earlier crash at the Battery Street Tunnel.
The Seattle Department of Transportation says drivers should expect residual delays through downtown.

Both directions of the highway were briefly blocked until the northbound lanes reopened. The southbound lanes were closed for almost an hour.
SDOT recommends using alternate routes.
The Seattle Fire Department said it responded to a two-car crash with minor injuries.
There are reports that the fire suppression system — or sprinklers — went off inside the tunnel after the crash.
