Police investigate homicide at RV in North Seattle

A man was found dead outside an RV parked in North Seattle early Wednesday morning. Police are now investigating the scene as a homicide.
Shortly after 5 a.m., Seattle police reported that they were called to the scene of a shooting at Midvale Avenue North and North 96th Street. The body of a 47-year-old man was found just outside an RV parked in the Licton Springs neighborhood. was dead “of an apparent gunshot wound” .
People calling 911 around 5 a.m. reported hearing a single gunshot, according to police. By 6 a.m., police said the shooting was a being investigated as a homicide. Detectives note that they are working with the King County聽 Medical Examiner to determine the exact cause of death.

No suspect information has been released and no arrests have been made. Police used a K9 unit to search the area.
