Police investigate homicide at RV in North Seattle

A man was found dead outside an RV parked in North Seattle early Wednesday morning. Police are now investigating the scene as a homicide.
Shortly after 5 a.m., Seattle police reported that they were called to the scene of a shooting at Midvale Avenue North and North 96th Street. The body of a 47-year-old man was found just outside an RV parked in the Licton Springs neighborhood. was dead “of an apparent gunshot wound” .
People calling 911 around 5 a.m. reported hearing a single gunshot, according to police. By 6 a.m., police said the shooting was a being investigated as a homicide. Detectives note that they are working with the King County Medical Examiner to determine the exact cause of death.
³ÉÈËXÕ¾ 7 TV’s Rob Munoz reports that neighbors say the RV showed up in the area a couple weeks ago.
No suspect information has been released and no arrests have been made. Police used a K9 unit to search the area.
