A military officer at Joint Base Lewis-McChord is jailed, suspected of helping her husband conceal a homicide.
Sheriff’s investigators in Dane County, Wisconsin confirm the arrest Tuesday of Shannon Remus at JBLM. She is accused of helping her husband hide the body of his half-brother.
Remus is the wife of Jeffrey Vogelsberg who’s charged with torturing and killing his autistic half-brother Matthew Graville in the village of Mazomanie, Wisconsin last summer. Mazomanie is located 95 miles west of Milwaukee.
Remus is held at the Pierce County Jail and faces an extradition hearing Wednesday.
Dane County sheriff’s investigators say Remus has denied any involvement in the murder, but they claim she knew where Graville was buried.
