成人X站 Newsradio was awarded two prestigious Gracie Awards at a ceremony in New York City this week. News anchor and Gracie Award recipient Heather Bosch traveled to the Big Apple to take the awards back home to the Pacific Northwest.

Take a listen to the two winning features below:

Best Soft Radio Feature

In the story “Figgy Pudding Choir,” 成人X站 News Radio’s Heather Bosch captures the first “in person” practice for a Seattle women’s choir since Covid restrictions began. The singers talk about the importance of being able to match pitch and tempo, in person, but their laughter and joy reveals a more important reason for making music, together.

Best Public Service Announcement

成人X站 Newsradio’s Charity of the Month profiled “Gold Star Moms,” in which the mother of a Marine – killed in Afghanistan – spoke of how the non-profit allows the mothers of fallen service members to support each other and find ways to honor the memories of their children.

About the Gracie Awards:

The Gracie Awards recognize exemplary programming created by women, for women and about women in all facets of media and entertainment. They also acknowledge the individuals who have made inspirational contributions to the industry.
