Motorcyclist dies in crash in Bellevue

A motorcyclist died in a crash in Bellevue on Friday night, police said.
It happened around 9:40 p.m. at the intersection of NE 8th Street and 116th Ave NE.
鈥淏ellevue Police was able to confirm the motorcyclist, an 18-year-old male, was traveling northbound on 116th Ave NE at a high rate of speed,鈥� police said in a post on the . 鈥淗e then crashed into another vehicle that was heading westbound through the intersection.鈥�
The man died at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle was injured but survived.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
