A man was shot and killed in Seattle’s Chinatown-International District on Thursday afternoon, according to Seattle police.

Just after 2:00 p.m., police responded to the intersection of 13th Avenue South and South Lane Street for reports that someone had been shot. It has been a violent year in the Chinatown-International District. According to crime statistics from the Seattle Police Department, before Thursday鈥檚 homicide, there were six reported deadly shootings in the neighborhood, which is the highest in all of the city鈥檚 areas.
