A rare wildlife encounter was caught on camera in Snoqualmie.

The Washington State Department of Transportation posted a video last week of a mouse “booping” a coyote. The mouse appears to be teasing the coyote, possibly biting it, as it hunts for dinner.

Fortunately for the mouse, it was able to get away.

WSDOT said the video is a reminder to celebrate the small victories.

Last month, there was a string of coyote attacks in Bellevue. One coyote was killed as a result.
