A nightclub in Seattle has beefed up security after an arson on New Year’s Eve. The fire started as 700 people rang in 2014 at Neighbour’s on Capitol Hill.
Club spokesman Shaun Knittel told the suspect stands out on the surveillance footage.
“They did not look like, or act like a nightclub customer, let’s put it that way,” said Knittel. “They moved very quickly, they were in the building for less than 10 minutes and let’s say they came in did what they had to do and go.”
Nobody was hurt during the incident.
Neighbour’s has added a new wall separating it from an adjoining bar and will now be requiring bag checks at the door.
The club, one of the oldest gay bars in the city, plans to welcome back supporters with an event this Saturday.
