Standoff with suspect underway after officer-involved shooting in Seattle

A standoff between Seattle Police and an armed suspect is taking place Friday morning near the 3200 block of E. Madison Street in Seattle.
The standoff followed an officer-involved shooting. SWAT teams and the Seattle Police Department (SPD) are negotiating with the barricaded person. A shelter-in-place roder was issued for nearby residents at 7:45 a.m.
According to 成人X站 Newsradio, three Seattle Police Department (SPD) officers responded to a domestic violence disturbance when a woman ran out of the building with an injury. Officers quickly determined she had been shot, and took her to a nearby hospital.
“A call went out regarding a domestic violence disturbance,” SPD Chief Shon Barnes said. “Officers responded four minutes later and discovered a female in the front yard who ran to the officer’s arms. The female collapsed, and we discovered that she had been shot.”
The suspect fired at police from inside the building, prompting one SPD officer to fire back.
No officers have been injured, as of this reporting.
Officers with the (SPD) remain on scene at an apartment on E. Madison Street, between 32nd and 33rd Avenues E. The shooting happened at approximately 4:50 a.m.
Police are urging the public to stay away from the area.
