Nearly 7,000 lose power in Kitsap County after truck hits Peninsula Light utility pole

Approximately 7,000 Peninsula Light Company customers lost power just before 9 p.m. Monday after a truck rolled over into a utility pole in Kitsap County.
The outage is ongoing, with more than 2,000 customers near Longbranch and LakeBay currently without power.

Peninsula Light crews have worked throughout the night to restore power for roughly 5,000 customers. The estimated restoration time was set for 10 a.m.
