A man accused of a violent, sexual assault in downtown Renton is on the run and police are asking for help tracking him down.
Shad Johnson, 42, allegedly assaulted his ex-girlfriend in the espresso stand she was working in Feb. 17.
“[He’s] accused of a fairly horrific assault and rape…,” said Renton Police Detective Robert Onishi.
The assault occurred when Johnson’s ex was just opening the stand for business, according to police.
Johnson, a white male, was last seen driving a red 2004 Ford F-150 pickup truck and may be headed to California.
Investigators say Johnson is also wanted on a Federal probation violation and should be considered dangerous.
Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to Johnson’s arrest and conviction.
