Seattle police officers shot, killed man brandishing knives

Officers arrived to around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday after several 911 calls reporting that a man with knives was chasing and threatening people.
After a Taser deployment, SPD says two officers fired their weapons and struck the man.
Medics pronounced the man deceased at the scene after officers provided first aid.
The King County Sheriff’s Office will conduct an independent review, per protocol. Detectives from the Force Investigation Team and Crime Scene Investigation responded to the incident. Representatives from the Office of Police Accountability and the Office of the Inspector General were also present, as were representatives from the KCSO.
