Power outage planned for some in Seattle’s SoDo neighborhood

About 60 City Light customers in Seattle’s SoDo district will be without power for about an hour starting at 10 p.m. Friday.
The power will be shut off along Occidental Avenue between King and Royal Brougham streets.
The shutdown is necessary in order to make repairs to equipment damaged Tuesday when a vehicle hit a commercial service junction that supplies electricity to a warehouse.
Utility inspectors say the damage created a fire risk.
