Report: Nearly 200 people arrested for DUI after leaving popular Tacoma nightclub

Tacoma’s Jazzbones is well known for its live music but now it’s drawing attention from law enforcement.
Data from the Washington State Patrol shows that between 2012 to mid-May, 195 people were arrested for DUI after leaving the popular nightclub, the .

The data is not 100 percent accurate, the state patrol told the Tribune. It’s important to note that the people giving law enforcement the information about where they are coming from are intoxicated at the time. Because of that, the information cannot be used against the bars listed in the state patrol’s reported, Liquor and Cannabis Board spokesperson Mikhael Carpenter told the Tribune.
And it’s not just Jazzbones that has been flagged. Data shows 163 DUI arrests were made after people left McCloud’s Saloon in Bremerton; 145 from Jake’s on Fourth in Olympia; 142 from Muckleshoot Casino; 141 from Wayne’s Inn in Puyallup; and 109 from Schafer’s Bar and Grill in Sumner.
