Sound Transit has north of Seattle on Friday, Nov. 12.

Officials say it’s a “precautionary action” because of the high level of rainfall in the forecast and the potential for landslide activity. Landslides have closed train travel in the north end many times over the years.

Passengers of the N Line are encouraged to take existing regular bus service as an alternative to the canceled train service between Everett and Seattle.
