Man arrested for threatening to kill Seattle grocery store workers

As if being a grocery store worker isn’t hard enough during a global pandemic, employees at a Seattle store tell police a man threatened to kill them.
Seattle police arrested a 47-year-old man Monday evening after employees at a Safeway store in the called 911 to report he had threatened to kill them while stealing some items.
SPD says officers found the suspect a few blocks away. While searching the man, they found a loaded 9mm pistol.
The suspect was booked into King County Jail for robbery and firearm charges. Police say he’s a convicted felon and isn’t allowed to possess a firearm.
