A new at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport kicks off on Tuesday.

CDC recommends you do not travel for spring break to limit COVID spread

There are two touchless technology pilot programs coming to the airport, one of which will basically save your spot in the TSA checkpoint line.

“The first one is called SEA Spot Saver. Essentially this is a virtual queuing program that allows you to save a spot in the TSA line prior to getting to the airport,” Sam Cho, spokesperson with the Port of Seattle, told 成人X站 Radio.

“You’ll be able to actually sign up for a time for you to go into the line. If you think about the TSA lines, they’re really long. So this is an opportunity for us to experiment in the times of COVID to figure out a faster way to do it,” he explained.

There’s no need to sign up or pay.

“The second one is a technology that allows you to check in at our ticketing kiosks without actually touching them by hovering your finger over the kiosks rather than actually pressing the touch screen,” Cho said.

The next time you book a flight on Delta or Alaska Airlines, you’ll be able to use the “no touch” technology. The goal, of course, is to cut down on germs that could spread things like COVID-19.

The pilot will run through August.
