Washington State Patrol investigates shooting in Olympia near capitol

Washington State Patrol is working to sort out what led up to a shooting in Olympia at the north end of Capitol Lake on on Wednesday afternoon.

Seattle police looking into series of reported shootings from over the weekend

The male victim is hospitalized with a bullet wound that is not a threat to his life.

This is the third shooting this month in the same area. One of them was fatal.

Deschutes Parkway is closed Wednesday in the area of the shooting while state patrol investigates, and everyone is asked to avoid the area.
