Angelina Jolie’s leg was a hit at the Oscars

Feb 28, 2012, 9:50 AM | Updated: 10:24 am

Angelina Jolie’s Oscar dress featured a split by her right leg. She appeared to accentuate it while presenting the award for best adapted screenplay, and the buzz surrounding her pose is one of the lasting highlights of the show 97.3 成人X站 FM host John Curley compared to “an AARP convention.”

“She goes up to give an award and they’ve got her on a long shot. She’s got a black dress on. It’s a very attractive dress but it has a slit that goes all the way up to the top of her thigh,” said John Curley. “She’s got her right leg out and her left leg straight so now her entire leg all the way up to the top of her thigh, as my dad would say ‘Almost up to her drawers,’ is exposed. Then it’s like, OK now what?”

Curley said the stance, that reminded him of a hitchhiker showing leg to get a ride, was clearly meant to highlight the leg.

“What are you going to do now?” Curley said, wondering what the A-list star was trying to say with her gesture. “She just stood there and gave out the awards.”

Jim Nash, one of the winners of the category Jolie was presenting, mocked the pose while accepting his award for best adapted screenplay for the “The Descendants.”

After the show, the leg even spawned its own twitter account.
The Twitter feed dubbed @angiesrightleg already has more than 26,000 followers.

Most of what Jolie’s leg has to say is fairly simple-minded. Sample tweets include “I’m a leg!” and “Look at the leg!”
