The Mariners may be only two games out of first place in the AL West, but are they really contenders?

Led by a stellar pitching staff with the second best ERA (3.22) in the American League, the Mariners have found a way to contend in the early part of the season despite their inept hitting. The offense has scored only 270 runs (worst in the AL), and their .227 team batting average is the worst in all of baseball.

ESPN.com MLB stats guru Jonah Hill will join the Brock & Salk show this morning, to analyze whether or not the 2011 Mariners are an illusion at this point of the season.
