Did Google steal idea for Plus ad?

In an attempt to search for an ad for Google Plus, a colleague stumbled upon another video with some of the same features but clearly not produced for TV.
Here’s the performer’s video uploaded in Oct. 2010. He has dedicated the video to homeless men, women, and children with no roof over their head.
The Muppets are certainly no stranger to Queen nor YouTube. Check out their version of Bohemian Rhapsody uploaded over two years ago.
