Film too true to life for Courtney Stodden’s husband

Courtney Stodden (the pride of Ocean Shores) has gotten our attention with her youth, scandalous clothing, and her 51-year-old actor-husband. Now, that husband doesn’t want people to get him and a movie character confused – because they’re both hanging around with underage girls.

Doug Hutchinson, whose on screen career notably includes The Green Mile and “Lost,” was cast as the lead in an upcoming film currently titled The Genesis of Lincoln.

The part: A director that has a “strange and scandalous relationship with the teenage pop star he casts,” .

Hutchinson was a little worried that movie-goers, and the like would draw the conclusion that his life too closely mirrored the character he played – for the worst.

The film’s writer/producer/director said that Hutchinson was “legitimately concerned” about the film’s sexual content,” as well as an audience’s ability to separate him from the character he played.

Not knowing much else about the film, we do know that Courtney Stodden did make a music video, but since she only gets her photo taken because of the 17-year-old’s May-December marriage and the small strips of clothing she wears in public – she is not actually a pop star.

However, the audience could still conclude from the description alone, that Hutchinson and Stodden’s relationship is both “strange and scandalous.”
