Gifts for your kids inspired by viral videos

If you have kids in your life, you probably started shopping for their holiday gifts on Black Friday; or maybe you held out for deals on Cyber Monday. But before you buy them the cool new toy, it might be time to remember that kids love doing things that mimic the much larger people in their lives.

For instance, these fancy gadgets mom and dad keep around sure are bright and shiny, and they do well in the hands of this baby, who is pretty awesome at keeping a phone conversation going. He’s seen it done enough times that he knows exactly what his end of the conversation should sound like. He probably doesn’t understand yet that someone is also supposed to be talking to him on the other end.

Maybe, instead of wrecking mom’s smart phone by one day accidently dropping it in the toilet, he should get his own , and looks almost as shiny.

Maybe it’s also time to get your kids some downloadable books on your tablet computer. In some cases, those old fashioned books might not be doing the trick, for the technological-minded children of the present.

If you do want to go the old fashioned route, you can check out some of these most wished for toys heading into the holiday season.
