Hey dudes of the world, it just became easier to meet new friends and form a “bromance.”
‘What’s a bromance?,’ you might ask. It’s that special relationship between dudes as popularized in films like 2009’s Or what you can assume is going on between two dudes in Ed Hardy t-shirts hanging out and enjoying an IPA.
that makes things easier, “The Bromance” app, is meant to bridge the gap between social media (like Facebook and Twitter) and “the real world,” like where bros play in indoor soccer leagues together.
It’s an app that online dating sites have been testing. Even though we haven’t seen any eHarmony commercials that boast the success rate of pressing a button on your smartphone and meeting your future husband or wife yet, the possibility of friendship at the touch of a button could seems a little easier.
By filling out a ‘brofile,’ men can check out and chat with potential “bros” nearby. In their potential future: Grabbing a beer or shooting hoops and other things typical dudes do. It’s just at the next level because you’ll be filling the prophecy that this could be a lifelong bromance.
