The “haves” and the “have nots,” that’s how a lot of people have categorizing those who call themselves the 99 percent and those who are qualified as the one percent. This image bucks the traditional image of the kid coming out of college, plainly stating they’re not with the 99 percent.

I’m not sure whether this person really exists, the fact that they hid behind that sign makes it hard to verify. But I would say it’s unique circumstances to find scholarships that cover 90 percent of college tuition, and being able to live in an apartment cheap enough that it’s okay you only work 30 hours a week for minimum wage, is also hard to come by. I find it a little far-fetched, but acknowledge it’s not impossible.

This person did have a point. You do have to work hard for what you get. Something some 99 percent-ers could consider acknowledging.
