Sounders women signs Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model

Two weeks after signing U.S. national team goalkeeper Hope Solo, the Seattle Sounders women have added another national star to the roster, and .
The Sounders women announced Monday they have signed star forward Alex Morgan for the 2012 season. Morgan appeared in the most recent Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition (pictured above).
Morgan, 22, has 32 appearances and 16 goals for the national team since making her debut in 2010. She played for the Western New York Flash in the Women’s Professional Soccer league a year ago.
I’m assuming the Sounders Women’s calender will be flying off the shelves come Christmas time.
