It is sad but true – we can’t all be brainiacs. I have fumbled around with a Rubik’s cube a few times in my life have always seemed to fall one color block short of a solved puzzle. (And I can’t even blame color-blindness for my lack of puzzle excellence … because if you have a hard time with green and red, there is your real-Rubik’s disadvantage.)
But in true science and math nerd form, the Pacific Science Center is building the LARGEST RUBIK’S CUBE you’ve ever seen. To prove it, they released a YouTube video of the cube as it’s under construction.
Just WATCH:

And yes! This 35-foot tall puzzle will be fully operational. And yes! The PSC has named it the “Groovik’s Cube.” And yes! It will illuminated with LED lights.
And yes, it’s scheduled to go on display October 1.
