As if you need another excuse to visit Seattle’s this weekend…or ever. Now the zoo’s tree kangaroo’s baby is making its way into the world, literally. The joey is emerging fully from its mother’s pouch in short bursts.

You won’t actually get to see the eight month old joey if you visit the zoo as mom and baby are kept in a special behind the scenes exhibit to give them some privacy. WPZ says this is Elanna’s first joey.
