17-year-old shot by dirt bike rider in Auburn, no arrests made

A 17-year-old boy was allegedly shot by a dirt biker in Auburn Wednesday night, the Auburn Police Department (APD) reported.
Just before 7:45 p.m., APD officers responded to reports of shots fired in Auburn鈥檚 Lea Hill neighborhood on the 31600 block of 126th Avenue S.E.
“Upon arrival, officers located a 17-year-old male suffering from at least one gunshot wound,” APD stated on . “The victim’s injuries appear to be non-life-threatening, and he was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.”
According to APD’s investigation, the 17-year-old victim was walking near the entrance of College Place Mobile Home Park when the suspect approached on a dirt bike, dismounted, and fired at least one shot before fleeing. No suspects have been arrested as the suspect’s identity is currently unknown to the department..
