Body recovered from the water near Seattle’s Gas Works Park

A body was pulled out of the water in Seattle near Gas Works Park, the Seattle Fire Department (SFD) confirmed.
Seattle Police Harbor Patrol arrived on the scene and pulled the body out of the water after receiving calls around 8 a.m. Seattle Fire crews examined the body onshore, confirming the person was deceased.

Crews are responding to report of a person in the water offshore of the 2100 block of N Northlake Way. Please avoid the area.

The Seattle Police Department (SPD) has taken over the crime scene, and is asking people to avoid the area.
